What a great hotel!
Just stayed at this hotel as a group of 10 for cycling. What a great hotel. The owner and staff could not have done more for us. The rooms were clean and the food was great. We had to start very early on one morning to avoid the heat and they layer on an early breakfast. I can't recommend this hotel more and would definitely stay again!

Perfect hotel for cyclists.
We were a group of 10 cyclists visiting the Bormio area to cycle the legendary climbs of Stelvio, Gavia and Mortirolo. We booked Hotel Vallecetta because it appeared to be good value and offered half board. The hotel is family run and the owners are the best hosts you could wish to have. They try to accommodate every need and even got up at 4.30 in the morning so we could have breakfast before a big day cycling. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The highlight of the stay was the quality of the food. Cyclists need to eat well and we were all delighted by the food offered. I am gluten free and don’t expect to be well fed on set menus. I was so pleasantly surprised.
A big thank you to the family owners at Hotel Vallecetta.

Memorable stay.
Gasperi family and the staff were very warm and welcoming, and made our stay special. Room was clean, well-furnished and comfortable. The meals were delicious and good value. Convenient room to store and tune skis and dry boots on the boot dryer. Very nice walking paths around the property.

The top!
The husband and wife team as owners were awesome. The real highlight was having dinner in the hotel restaurant and breakfast the next morning. They had a special table reserved for us with our room number placed on a decorative piece of wood. The food was gourmet and the prices more than reasonable.

A great week-end.
The owner of this hotel was very kind and helpful. Having the free parking was useful. The room was comfortable with simple furniture. The bathroom was super new and spotless clean.
The hotel is located at the start of Bormio, but it is very well connected with the centre of town via a walking/cycling path along a stream (it takes about 15mins to get to the town centre).
